The Black Spaniel Rag
This piece was inspired by Andy Firth’s black spaniel, “Jazz” and featured all of the lively joy and fun of a puppy at play.
Set in the style of a lively ragtime style, all of the players are given a solid workout both tonally and technically.
Ranges: Alto 1: F3. Tenor: Eb3. Baritone: Lowest Notes: A1 with ossia but mainly B1 and C1
