Inspired by the famous TV theme “The Flintstones”, this lively swinging chart will bring a smile to your players and audiences alike.
Complete with tight “Supersax”-styled ensemble writing for the saxes, written (or improvised) tenor sax, and trumpet solos, this arrangement offers both challenge and fun in one package.
The arrangement can be performed as a medium swinger or burner-whatever is preferred.
Technical and Ranges: Tpt 1: D above the stave. Trombone 1: A few Bb above stave (4 ledger lines) approached by step.
4th Trombone: Bass or trigger trombone. (low Db)
Moderate-Advanced technical and rhythmic difficulty. A few scale-based unison semi-quaver lines in saxes occasionally. Soloists: Written/Improv: Tenor 1 and Tpt 1
