About If It Ain’t Baroque
This arrangement has been composed and scored in the spirit of Benny Goodman’s hit by Alec Templeton, “Bach Goes to Town”. The piece features a “Baroque-styled” melody that is then played in a swing style.
This arrangement is is set at an intermediate to advanced level and features a written or improvised tenor sax 1 solo which can be played on clarinet if so desired (preferable).
There is also a short, written trumpet 2 solo (which can be improvised if preferred).
This piece is sure to be a favourite with all ages and guarantees to be fun for the whole band.
