About How Can I Stop the Rain?
This beautiful Andy Firth original jazz ballad features the dulcet and mellow tones of the baritone saxophone set in a romantic, full backing from the saxes and brass. The baritone solo part is based on Andy Firth’s performance and improvised solo from his 2005 recording, “Sax To The Max!”.
The baritone sax part is set at an advanced level (6th to 7th-grade AMEB) and is written out in full.

Technical and Ranges: Tpt 1: C above the stave. Trombone 1: G above the stave. 4th Trombone: Playable on tenor trombone.
Moderate technical and rhythmic difficulty.
