At Andy Firth Music we create and provide music with audio tracks for clarinet, saxophone and flute players at all levels of development and accomplishment. We craft and design graded music that develops and sustains musicians from beginner to professional level players. All of our music is composed or arranged by award-winning, Internationally celebrated clarinet and saxophone artist, Andy Firth.
Andy Firth
Andy has been playing the clarinet and saxophone for over 50 years. He has been an instrumental music teacher for 40 years both privately, in schools, colleges and universities. Andy has performed on the stages of the world with some of the biggest names in classical and jazz music, including a concert at the famed, Carnegie Hall under his own name in 2008. He holds a Bachelor of Music Degree and Diploma of Education.
Composer & Arranger
As a composer, Andy has written over 1,000 pieces of music in many styles including, Baroque, Classical, Dixieland, Swing, Be Bop, Modern Jazz, Latin, Funk, Rock, Hip Hop and Pop. His mentor and composition/arranging tutor was the Australian Maestro, Tommy Tycho with Andy being the only student he ever consented to teach.
In 2002 Andy was awarded a prestigious Film & TV Award for his arranging & composition. Along with his wife Liz, Andy recently compiled The Australian Guild of Music & Speech (AGMS) clarinet and saxophone syllabuses. Andy also devised their ground-breaking jazz clarinet syllabus, the first of its kind in Australasia.

Liz Firth
Is an experienced clarinetist, cellist, instrumental music teacher, graphic artist and an award-winning calligrapher. She holds an Honours Degree in Clarinet and a Diploma in Graphic Design.
Liz has been teaching clarinet and saxophone for over 35 years and has held positions in Australian symphony orchestras and noted ensembles.
Graphic Arts
Liz’s graphic art and calligraphic skills have seen her become one of the finest in Australia having been commissioned to scribe the forewords for valuable books that were presented to the Australian Prime Minister. Her calligraphy has been used on TV productions and other visual artist’s works. Liz specialises in hand written calligraphy, hand lettering, pattern design and is the founder of lilyandfarron.com
