About Sunshine Heart
Sunshine heart was composed during a flight from my home in Newcastle New South Wales Australia to Queensland Australia. Queensland is commonly known as the sunshine state, hence the title sunshine heart.
This arrangement for intermediate level Big band, features a quartet of trumpet, alto sax tenor sax, and trombone contrast against the full ensemble. The piece also feature written alto sax and guitar solo which can also be improvised.
This piece features a very “catchy” melody in the style similar to that of the instrumental music of the 1980s.
This piece is bound to be a hit with audiences of all ages!
